According to the weekly report released by the Mato Grosso Institute of Agricultural Economics (Imea) on Monday (27th), data from the Foreign Trade Secretariat (Secex) indicates that by the fourth week of January 2025, Brazil had exported 143.31 thousand tons of fresh beef. The volume generated $722.01 million in revenue, with a daily average of $42.47 million.

The daily shipment volume reached 8.43 thousand tons, representing a 2.12% increase compared to the same period in 2024. Additionally, the average price per ton reached $5,037.88, marking a growth of 11.38% compared to the average value recorded in January of the previous year.
This performance reflects the continued global demand for Brazilian beef. If the export pace is maintained, January 2025 could become the best month in the sector’s history, setting a new record.
