Brado Optimizes Grain Operations with New Tipper in Rondonópolis

Brado has inaugurated its second truck tipper at the Rondonópolis terminal in Mato Grosso. The newly installed equipment allows for simultaneous operations, potentially doubling processing capacity and handling up to 180 trucks daily.
The new structure marks a significant improvement in the company’s internal storage capacity for grains such as soybeans, corn, and meal, streamlining the logistics flow at a critical time for Brazil’s agribusiness. According to the National Supply Company (Conab), Brazilian corn production is expected to grow by approximately 11% in the 2024/25 season compared to the previous crop, reaching 328.3 million tons. Mato Grosso, one of the country’s top producing regions, led corn exports in 2024 with over 43 million tons shipped.
Regarding soybeans, Conab forecasts a 14% increase in the national crop for the 2024/25 season, with estimated production reaching 167.37 million tons. Mato Grosso again stands out, leading soybean exports in 2024 with 24.89 million tons.
From its Rondonópolis terminal, Brado transports corn to food manufacturers in São Paulo’s interior, and soy meal, soybeans, and dried distillers’ grains (DDG) for export. Unlike bulk shipments, containerized grains benefit from improved quality and security, as containers are sealed directly at the terminal. This solution is also ideal for meeting the needs of smaller buyers.
The new tipper also reduces the risk of cross-contamination between different cargo types, such as grains and meals, and minimizes the need for cleaning and maintenance stops. This significantly boosts response time and operational efficiency. Additionally, the equipment helps reduce truck queues and idle time, improving flow during peak demand driven by the harvest season.
