Brazil audit court TCU orders changes to Santos port fuel terminal auction

The Federal Audit Court (TCU) has ordered the Santos Port Authority (APS) to make a series of adjustments to the bidding notice for the STS08 terminal at the Port of Santos. The measures are necessary for the auction process to proceed.
STS08 is a 152,300-square-meter area in Alemoa, designated for handling, storage, and distribution of liquid bulk, particularly fuels.
The court determined that the project’s economic-financial model and draft contract must be aligned with the completion schedule of Alemoa’s new pier, which Petrobras is obliged to deliver under lease contract 06/2022. The aim is to avoid conflicts during the transition of liquid bulk operations.
