Brazil exported more than 800,000 tons of chicken meat to the Arab countries in the first half of this year alone, said the president of the Brazilian Animal Protein Association (ABPA) on July 4th, during his participation in a panel at the 4th Economic Forum organized by the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce.

According to Santin, the war in Ukraine increased the need for those countries to obtain food. For him, Brazil is ready and able to continue shipping the protein to the Arab countries according to demand. “The challenge is to continue to do well and respect Islamic law,” he added.
