Brazil sees boost to bovine genetics market with shipment to India

Brazilian exports of bovine semen have received a boost following the market opening in India, the world’s largest milk producer.
Alta Genetics, a leading Canada-owned company in cattle genetic improvement, has exported 40,000 doses of Gir dairy breed semen to India. The value of the operation remains undisclosed.
