Brazilian beef exports total 116,634 k tonnes in December

Brazil’s fresh, frozen, or refrigerated exports equaled $578.322 million in December (17 working days), with a daily average of $34.019 million. The country’s total exports reached 116,634 thousand tonnes, with a daily average of 6,860 thousand tonnes. The average price paid per tonne bought was $4,958.40 US dollars.
Compared to December 2021, there was a 27.8% gain in the average daily export value, a 24.4% increase in the average daily exported quantity, and a 2.7% appreciation in the average price. The data are from the Ministry of Economy, Foreign Trade Department.
