Brazil’s exports of eggs, including fresh and processed products, increased in April, continuing the upward trend seen since the beginning of the year. According to researchers from Cepea, this growth was driven by strong demand from the United States for the second consecutive month. In April, the U.S. became the leading destination for Brazilian eggs, absorbing 65% of the total export volume.
Data from Secex, compiled and analyzed by Cepea, show that Brazil exported 4.34 thousand tonnes of fresh and processed eggs in April, 15% more than in March 2025 and a remarkable 271% increase compared to April 2024. The United States received 2.86 thousand tonnes of these eggs, marking a sharp 45% increase over the volume shipped in March.
