Brazilian soybean exports expected to reach 14.05 million tonnes in June, port line-up shows

Brazilian soybean exports are expected to hit the 14.053 million tonnes mark in June, according to vessel line-up data compiled by consultancy Safras & Mercado.

The forecast is slightly above the 13.931 million tonnes shipped in June 2025.

A port line-up tracks scheduled vessel loadings and is widely used as an early indicator of Brazil’s near-term export performance.

July shipments also remain strong

For July 2026, scheduled soybean shipments are expected to ease to 9.491 million tonnes, in line with the seasonal flow of Brazil’s crop.

May marked the recent peak, with 15.304 million tonnes scheduled for shipment through Brazilian ports.

Year-to-date volumes reinforce Brazil’s global role

From January through July 2026, the line-up points to soybean shipments of 82.130 million tonnes, keeping Brazil in a leading position in global soybean trade.

By comparison, data from Brazil’s Foreign Trade Secretariat, Secex, show that the country exported 64.947 million tonnes between January and June 2025.

According to data obtained by Datamar, 71% of Brazil’s soybean exports in the first four months of the year were shipped to China. Datamar data also shows that Brazilian soybean exports to China fell nearly 7% in the January-April period compared with the same period a year earlier. Agribusiness outlook

The figures reflect the competitiveness of Brazilian soybean exports in global markets, supported by high yields, strong international demand and the capacity of the country’s port system.

Despite the usual month-to-month swings tied to the harvest calendar, the outlook for Brazilian agribusiness remains positive, with strong shipment volumes expected through 2026.
