Soybeans Lead Monthly Shipments
According to a weekly report released this Tuesday (24) by the National Association of Cereal Exporters (Anec), Brazil is expected to export 14.986 million tonnes of soybeans in June. This volume represents an increase compared to the same period last year when 13.829 million tonnes were shipped.
Soybean Meal Exports See Slight Decline
Soybean meal exports, on the other hand, are projected to total 1.923 million tonnes this month. This figure is lower than the 2.047 million tons exported in June 2024.
Corn Shipments Also Decrease
Corn exports are estimated at 828,959 tonnes for June, down from the 982,812 tonnes shipped in the same month last year.
General Outlook
The data released by Anec indicate that, despite the significant growth in soybean shipments, export volumes for soybean meal and corn remain below the levels recorded during the same period in the previous year.
