Brazilian exports of tilapia and by-products declined in 2025, driven mainly by tariffs imposed by the United States, a key destination for Brazilian tilapia.
Data show that shipments totalled 15,100 tonnes from January to December, an 8.5% drop compared with 2024, according to figures released by the Center for Advanced Studies on Applied Economics (Cepea).
