Brazil’s beef exports increase 2.6% in first quarter of 2019

Beef Exporters Association (Abiec) stated Brazil’s beef exports grew 2.6% to 405,669m tons in the first quarter of 2019, compared to the same period last year. However, revenue generated from exports fell by 5.6% to US$1.6bn in the same period, year-on-year.
