BRF informed, on September 16th, that it authorized another unit to export turkey meat to Mexico. The factory is located in Chapecó, Santa Catarina.
According to BRF, this is the second unit of the company authorized by the National Health, Safety, and Agro-Food Quality Service (Senasica) to export turkey meat abroad.
In 2021, Mexico gave the green light to the meatpacking unit in Francisco Beltrão, Paraná.
“The new license provides flexibility to respond to market fluctuations and agility to enjoy the best opportunities,” BRF said in a market statement.
