On June 14, Bunge, the largest buyer and processor of wheat in Brazil, announced the resumption of the milling operation at Moinho de Brasília, whose processing activities had been suspended for about three years.
With a processing capacity of 300 tons per day, the unit will serve the domestic market by producing wheat flour for bakery, industries, final consumption, and wheat bran.
Inaugurated in 2000, the mill has operated only its Distribution Center (DC) since 2018 when milling was suspended for adequacy studies. The unit now employs more than 60 employees, including the DC.
