The Executive Management Committee of Camex (Chamber of Foreign Trade) has imposed definitive antidumping duties for up to five years on imports of polyester synthetic fibers originating from China, India, Thailand, and Vietnam. The resolution was published in the Official Gazette of the Union (DOU).
The investigation was initiated following a complaint filed by Abrafas (Brazilian Association of Producers of Artificial and Synthetic Fibers) in October 2023.
