CBO Holdings, a shipping company operating in the oil and gas industry, has announced it has completed the acquisition of yet another vessel for its fleet. The ship has a signed contract to operate with Petrobras between 2022 and 2025.
The new vessel is the ninth acquired by CBO Holding in its new growth cycle, according to the note. In September, the company announced the acquisition of five ships through an operation with Finarge.
The new vessel has high standard technical specifications that allow its operation in Brazilian pre-salt. Altogether, CBO Holding has 41 vessels. The new ship was built in 2011 and currently flies under the Norwegian flag. It will be registered with the Brazilian Special Registry as soon as it arrives in Brazil.
CBO’s growth plan includes continuing to invest in the acquisition of vessels to operate in Brazil.
