The export of chicken meat from Brazil in 2023 was estimated on Tuesday (12/19) to range between 5.05 million and 5.15 million tons, reaching a record level, with an annual increase of up to 6.8%, as stated by the Brazilian Animal Protein Association (ABPA).

Meanwhile, the country’s chicken meat output, the world’s largest exporter of the product, was projected to be between 14.8 million and 14.9 million tonnes in 2023, showing an increase of up to 2.6% compared to 2022, according to figures from ABPA, representing companies like JBS and BRF.
