Countdown to AAPA LATAM 2025: The Latin American port sector will meet in Peru.

Just weeks before its launch, the AAPA LATAM 2025 Congress, the summit of the region’s maritime and port industry, is accelerating preparations to welcome more than 600 international leaders and experts from June 24 to 27 at the Westin Hotel in Lima, Peru.
Convened by AAPA LATAM in partnership with the National Port Authority of Peru (APN) and produced by PR PORTS , the congress will establish itself as a key space for strategic debate, the presentation of success stories, and the construction of regional alliances for the future of the sector.
The official agenda revolves around the most relevant topics of the moment: the impact of the global economy on the port industry, infrastructure expansion in Latin America, automation, sustainability, logistics resilience, and the technological transformation of terminals, among others.
Prominent speakers and panelists from more than 15 countries will participate in sessions such as:
- Global economic outlook and its impact on maritime and port demand , with analysis by Drewry Maritime Research.
- Port expansion success stories , with leaders from Chile, Uruguay, Panama, Brazil, and Argentina.
- Automation and technology in global ports , with experts from Spain and Singapore.
- Logistics innovation, sustainability, shipping alliances, and port security will be featured in thematic panels exploring current challenges and emerging solutions, with the participation of leading global shipping companies.
The program also includes:
- Opening ceremony , with Peruvian authorities and industry leaders.
- Presentation of the AAPA LATAM Legacy Awards , recognizing port, sustainable development, and human capital.
- AAPA-CIP OAS Awards , in categories such as technology and innovation, port performance, and public-private partnerships.
- Official presentation of the AAPA LATAM 2026 venue (Guatemala).
- Gala dinner at the MALI Museum, one of Lima’s most iconic buildings.
In addition, technical visits will be made to key facilities: DP World Callao, APM Terminals Callao, the new Port of Chancay, and the Port of Paracas , giving attendees a firsthand look at the most strategic projects under development in the host country.
AAPA LATAM PERU 2025 will be the meeting point for representatives from more than 30 countries, including port authorities, executives from logistics and technology companies, terminal operators, and international trade leaders. This is an unmissable opportunity to strengthen cooperation networks, explore new investment opportunities, and showcase Latin American port leadership in the global context .
