Daily Green Coffee Exports Drop Over 27% in Early June, but Revenue Rises

Data released by Brazil’s Foreign Trade Secretariat (Secex) shows that the average daily export volume of unroasted (green) coffee during the first five business days of June 2025 was 7,376 tonnes. This represents a 27.4% decline compared to the daily average for the entire month of June 2024, which was 10,163 tonnes.
In total, 36,882 tonnes of green coffee were exported in the first five working days of June 2025, compared to 203,278 tonnes during the whole month of June 2024.
Green Coffee Export Revenue Rises Despite Lower Shipment Volumes
Despite the decrease in volume, revenue from green coffee exports during the same five-day period reached US$265.475 million, compared to US$801.952 million over the whole month of June 2024. This puts the current daily average revenue at US$53.095 million, a 32.4% increase over the US$40.097 million daily average from June last year

Significant Appreciation in Green Coffee Prices
The average price per ton of green coffee during the first five business days of June 2025 was US$7,197.90, representing an 82.5% increase compared to the US$3,945.10 average recorded throughout June 2024.
Exports of Roasted Coffee, Extracts, Essences, and Concentrates
For roasted coffee and its derivatives, revenue in the first five business days of June 2025 totaled US$25.490 million, compared to US$68.149 million for the whole month of June 2024. The current daily average is US$5.098 million, up 49.6% from the US$3.407 million daily average in June of last year.
Volume and Price of Roasted Coffee Exports
One thousand nine hundred forty-one tonnes of roasted coffee and its derivatives were exported in the first five working days of June 2025, compared to 7,230 tonnes over the whole month of June 2024. The daily average volume was 388 tonnes, representing a 7.4% increase from the 361 tonnes daily average in June 2024.
The average price for roasted coffee, extracts, essences, and concentrates reached US$13,128.80 in early June 2025, a 39.3% increase over the US$9,425.90 average recorded in June 2024.
