Dangote, from Nigeria, will start exporting fertilizers to the US and Brazil

Nigerian billionaire Aliko Dangote’s new fertilizer plant, located near Lagos, will make its first shipment between late June and early July, bound for Louisiana, although most of the unit’s exports should be directed to Brazil, said the businessman on Tuesday.
The new urea plant in the Lekki Free Trade Zone in Lagos, designed to produce 3 million tons per year, will also be able to supply all major markets in Sub-Saharan Africa, Dangote added at a virtual economic forum hosted by Qatar.
