The DataSmart Shipping Conference 2026 opens Tuesday (March 17) in São Paulo, bringing together executives, specialists and researchers to discuss the future of maritime transport and global trade amid geopolitical tensions, climate change and rapid technological transformation.
Organized by Datamar, the event takes place on March 17–18 at the Blue Tree Premium Faria Lima and is centered on the theme “Shipping 5.0: Data, Technology and People for a Sustainable Future.” The conference aims to highlight how data, artificial intelligence, automation and strategic analytics are becoming increasingly central to decision-making in the maritime and logistics sectors.
Over two days of programming, the conference will feature more than 15 speakers and multiple panel discussions, bringing together representatives from shipping lines, ports, terminals, technology companies, government and academia to discuss solutions that can make logistics chains more efficient, predictable and resilient.
