Ecorodovias reported on Monday that its subsidiary, Ecoporto Santos, has signed a transition agreement with the Santos Port Authority (APS).
This agreement aims to ensure the continuance of Ecoporto’s port and cargo storage operations at the Port of Santos in São Paulo.
Ecorodovias disclosed a material fact to the market stating that the transition contract is set for 180 days.
“If the bidding process for leasing the area is not concluded after this period, and the conditions for its exploration remain unchanged, APS is authorized to sign a new contract for an additional 180 days,” stated the company.
Ecorodovias emphasized that this agreement does not alter Ecoporto’s rights and obligations.
The company retains its existing arrangements regarding the port area in the Valongo region, located on the right bank of the Port of Santos.
