The company overseeing the administration of Maranhão state port infrastructure, EMAP, has announced an extension of Public Consultation 004/2025, aimed at receiving contributions and suggestions for the new version of the Port of Itaqui Berthing Regulation. Under the new deadline, stakeholders may submit comments through January 28, 2026, according to a notice published in the Official Gazette of the State of Maranhão (DOEMA).
The consultation’s main objective is to improve the berthing rules that regulate operations at the Port of Itaqui, with a focus on enhancing efficiency, safety and alignment with best practices in the port sector.
All technical documents related to the consultation are available on the port’s official website, in the transparency section.
Contributions must be submitted exclusively by email to copla@emap.ma.gov.br.
Submissions must include the sender’s full name and CPF or CNPJ number, and any attachments should be identified with the title “CONTRIBUIÇÃO NORMA DE ATRACAÇÃO VERSÃO 2025”.
EMAP stressed that only suggestions directly related to the technical documents submitted for public consultation will be taken into consideration.
