Evergreen to begin operating at TecPlata in Argentina
Feb, 06, 2020 Posted by datamarnewsWeek 202007
Container terminal TecPlata, located in Puerto La Plata, Argentina, signed a contract with Evergreen Marine Corp Taiwan Ltd. to start a new service in Asia and the Far East. With this agreement, TecPlata takes another step in its consolidation as an alternative option to Buenos Aires for Argentinian trade.
With this partnership, TecPlata, which started operations with the Brazilian shipping line LogIn in April 2019, will improve the service offered to importers and exporters as they will now be able to ship directly to Asia and the Far East. Evergreen will run this new service in collaboration with LogIn, connecting to the largest ports in China, Taiwan, Japan, South Korea, India and others in Southeast Asia.
