SPU (the federal heritage secretariat) authorized a land assignment for the company Imetame Logística Porto to install a port terminal on the coast of Aracruz, in the north of the state.
The ordinance that authenticates the act was published in an edition of the Official Federal Gazette on June 8.
To use the 1,032,639.20m²-area located on the Tancredo Neves Highway (ES-010) in Barra do Riacho, the company will pay the federal government R$4,127,665.41 annually, divided into 12 monthly installments. The amount, however, will be readjusted every 12 months, based on the national consumer price index (IPCA).
The total area of the federal property leased comprises 170,022.18 m² in public waters of the retro area, berth and south and north piers; 91,394.72 m² for the mooring berth nº 1; 144,484 .09 m² for berth nº 2; 165,879.55 m² for a breakwater; and 460,858.66 m² of evolution basin.
According to the SPU ordinance, the area will be for the construction, installation, and operation of the Private Use Terminal (TUP), called Imetame Logística Porto.
