Fertilizers: imports in Brazil amount to 2.906 mln tonnes in December

In December (seven working days), fertilizer imports from Brazil totaled US$ 846.4 million, with a daily average of US$ 120.9 million. The country imported 2.906 million tonnes of fertilizers in total, with an average of 415.20 thousand tonnes. The average price disbursed for each tonne sold was US$ 291.20.

In comparison to December 2021, the average daily import value fell by 85.7%, the average daily imported quantity fell by 94%, and the average price rose by 138.4%. The figures come from the Ministry of Economy’s foreign trade department.
