Oct, 17, 2024 Posted by Gabriel MalheirosWeek 202440
The Brazilian federal government has extended its investigation of dumping practices involving polyester fiber exports from China, India, Vietnam, Malaysia, and Thailand for an additional 18 months. The inquiry aims to assess the impact of these imports on the domestic industry.
This decision was outlined in a circular issued by the Foreign Trade Secretariat of the Ministry of Development, Industry, Trade, and Services, published in the Federal Official Gazette on Wednesday (16).
According to the circular report, the investigation period was extended because preliminary findings indicate dumping in polyester fiber exports to Brazil.
