The circular states that wire rod is a raw material used in the production of various types of products, such as general-purpose wires, steel wool wires, fasteners (nuts, bolts, studs), suspension components (coil springs, shock absorber rods, stabilizer bars, clamps), forging, tire cord (steel cord and bead wire), cables, white goods, ball pins, electrical hardware, hydraulic and pneumatic fittings, bars for mechanical construction, electrodes and MIG welding. It also has applications in agriculture, the furniture industry, civil construction, and clips commonly used in the packaging and stationery industries.
