In the first three months of the year, Paraná moved up from third to second place in Brazil’s honey export ranking, according to data from Agrostat Brazil.

This is one of the key topics covered in the Agricultural Outlook Bulletin for April 24-30, prepared by the Department of Rural Economics (Deral), part of the State Secretariat of Agriculture and Supply.

This rise is attributed to a 114% increase in volume and an 181.4% increase in revenue in the first quarter of the year compared to the same period in 2024.

A total of 1,641 tons of honey were exported, generating US$5.251 million at an average price of US$3.20 per kilogram.
