Ilson Hulle leaves Port of Vitória presidency

Ilson Hulle, CEO of Vports, is stepping down from the Port of Vitória. He has been invited to assume an executive position at the Abu Dhabi Port, part of the AD Ports Group, one of the most relevant ports in the Middle East. Hulle has been at the helm of Vports since Quadra Capital took over the concession from the former administration in September 2022. He conducted an unprecedented process in the country, as Vports is Brazil’s only private port authority.
Wednesday (20) marked the executive’s last day as CEO of the port. Paulo Cesena, partner at Quadra Capital and member of the Vports Board of Directors, will take on the interim position. “The Vports Board of Directors acknowledges Ilson’s significant role in leading the company over these 18 months, thanking him for his dedication and wishing him success in this new journey,” wrote the company in a statement.
In 18 months of work, under Hulle’s management, besides the challenging transition from public administration to private management, eight leasing contracts were closed within the port complex of Vitória, and an investment plan of R$ 150 million was implemented.
