In just 15 business days, Brazil has already exported more corn than in all of December 2024

Brazilian corn exports in December continued to exceed those recorded in the same period last year. According to the Secretariat of Foreign Trade (Secex), the country has already shipped 4,425,590.8 tonnes of unmilled corn (excluding sweet corn) so far this month, representing a 3.7% increase from the total of 4,265,867.3 tonnes exported in December 2024.
The daily average of shipments in the first 15 business days of the month reached 295,039.4 tonnes, an increase of 48.4% compared to the 203,136.5 tonnes per business day recorded last year.
In terms of revenue, Brazil earned US$968.101 million cumulatively so far this month, versus US$913.304 million in all of December 2024. The average daily revenue rose 45.2%, increasing from US$43.490 million to US$64.540 million per business day.
