The number of vessel calls at the Port of Vitória in the first nine months of the year has increased by 11.14%. There were 1,668 vessel calls from January to September, against 1,496 in the same period last year, according to data from CODESA’s Vessel Traffic Information and Management System (VTMIS).
Another highlight was the number of traffic control actions (unberthing, pilot embarking and disembarking, etc.) carried out by the operations control center: 94,996 actions.
VTMIS continues with an impeccable safety index, as it has not registered any navigation accidents since its implementation in 2017.
