Klabin begins first phase of the Puma II project

On August 30, Klabin began the operations of the first stage of the Puma II project at the industrial unit in Ortigueira (PR), according to a relevant fact issued by the pulp and paper manufacturer to the Brazilian Securities and Exchange Commission (CVM).
According to the company, this first phase includes the construction of the main fiber line for the production of unbleached pulp, including a kraftliner and white kraftliner paper machine, and a capacity of 450,000 tons per year.
Such production will be marketed under the Eukaliner brand, the world’s first kraftliner paper produced 100% from eucalyptus fibers.
