Latin America’s logistics automation market valued at $1 billion

Automation has become a strategic priority for Latin American industry. Pressure to improve productivity, labor shortages and rising logistics costs are accelerating investments in robotics, artificial intelligence and intralogistics across the region — a trend that is helping consolidate INTRA-LOG Expo South America on the trade-show calendar. The event will take place from September 15 to 17, 2026, at the Blue Pavilion of Expo Center Norte in São Paulo.
Recognized as the only event in Latin America dedicated to automation and intralogistics, the trade show enters 2026 twice as large as before, now occupying the Blue Pavilion at Expo Center Norte. Its growth is being driven by the automation boom led by e-commerce and other mission-critical operations across the region.
According to market intelligence consultancy Ken Research, Latin America’s logistics automation market was valued at $1.1 billion, with warehouse automation standing out as one of the key segments. Market Data Forecast expects the region’s automated material handling market to grow at an annual rate of 9.8%, from $3 billion in 2025 to $6.41 billion in 2033.
In 2025, more than 75% of intralogistics projects in the market considered not only process improvements, but also investments in technology and automation, according to a survey conducted by the IMAM Institute.
This growth is being driven mainly by rising demand for efficient supply-chain solutions, technological advances such as robotics and IoT integration, and the expansion of e-commerce.
“Brazil and Mexico dominate Latin America’s logistics automation market because of their large economies, extensive transport networks and significant investments in logistics infrastructure. Both countries have a high concentration of logistics service providers and e-commerce platforms, driving demand for automation technologies and digital transformation in logistics across the region. INTRA-LOG Expo’s mission is to expand the sector’s business environment,” said Cassiano Facchinetti, managing director of INTERLINK Exhibitions, the event organizer.
Eduardo Banzato, INTRA-LOG ambassador and director of Grupo IMAM, said the evolution of intralogistics is systemic, ranging from packaging and packaging technology to handling and storage solutions, which are growing at an exponential pace.
“Intralogistics is, and will continue to be, the foundation of logistics excellence and the entire supply chain,” Banzato said.
The success of the 2025 edition of INTRA-LOG Expo is also helping drive this year’s event. The trade show received 6,228 qualified visitors and brought together more than 250 Brazilian and international brands.
For the 2026 edition, INTERLINK will step up the event’s internationalization strategy, strengthening outreach to logistics, professional and industrial associations across Latin America and expanding the presence of foreign visitors, exhibitors and speakers. The expectation is to attract around 400 exhibiting brands and more than 8,500 visitors from across Brazil and neighboring countries.
“Our ambition is to make INTRA-LOG Expo 2026 an international business platform for companies seeking automation solutions capable of transforming logistics operations across different sectors of the economy throughout the region,” Facchinetti said.
The expansion of the trade show also reflects the broader work of INTERLINK Exhibitions, an organizer specializing in B2B events in Brazil, including Hyvolution Brazil, VICTAM LATAM, Feed Formulation Latin America and the debut edition of Label & Pack Expo. Together, those events bring together more than 1,000 exhibiting brands, generate around 20,000 qualified leads and occupy approximately 44,000 square meters of exhibition space, based on 2024-2025 figures.
Label & Pack Expo broadens the view of the logistics chain
One of the main new features of the 2026 edition will be the launch of Label & Pack Expo, a new trade show dedicated to industrial packaging, labeling and traceability, digital and flexographic printing, industrial automation, and tracking solutions using IoT and artificial intelligence. The event will be held alongside INTRA-LOG Expo South America.
Label & Pack Expo was created with the goal of becoming Latin America’s leading hub for technologies focused on automation, traceability, sustainability, new materials and high-performance printing in the industrial and transport packaging chain. The event will connect suppliers and technology integrators with industry and service providers, including logistics operators.
The show has strategic support from industry associations such as the Brazilian Packaging Association (ABRE), the Brazilian Association of Self-Adhesive Label and Tag Industries (ABIEA) and the Brazilian Machinery and Equipment Industry Association (ABIMAQ).
“Label & Pack Expo was created to highlight industrial packaging and integrate it with the automation solutions presented at INTRA-LOG. For visitors, the benefit is being able to see end-to-end integrated solutions that bring new answers to their operational challenges,” said Cassiano Facchinetti, managing director of INTERLINK Exhibitions.
Label & Pack Expo has already confirmed the participation of Projeto Pack, Serralgodão, Robopac, Packing Group, Isoflex, Signode, José Braulio Paletes, CD Embalagens, Polibras, Valgroup, Z-Pisa, Emplaca, D&A Print and Colátio, among others.
