Market Opening in Mali
Mar, 19, 2025 Posted by Denise VileraWeek 20212
The Brazilian government and Mali’s health authorities have reached an understanding on the models for International Health Certificates (CSIs) for the export of seven Brazilian agribusiness products to that country: live bovines and buffaloes, bovine, ovine, and caprine semen, and bovine, ovine, and caprine embryos.
In the past three years, Brazilian agribusiness exports to Mali have totaled around US$5 million. With a population of over 23 million and a predominantly rural demographic, the country presents a significant opportunity for the growth of Brazilian agricultural inputs exports.
With these announcements, Brazilian agribusiness achieves 42 market openings in 2025, totaling 342 new business opportunities since the beginning of 2023.
These results are the fruit of the joint efforts of the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (Mapa) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MRE).
