MSC to continue to use Tecon Rio Grande under renewed port services contract

Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) has signed an agreement to renew the contract with Tecon Rio Grande (TRG), Wilson Sons announced this Tuesday (22).
The new service contract is valued at BRL 71.4 million and will be in effect from July 1, 2025, to June 30, 2026.

In a statement, Wilson Sons emphasized that TRG is the main facility used by MSC at the only terminal specialized in container cargo handling at the organized port of Rio Grande, serving shipments to and from the state of Rio Grande do Sul.
According to the company, the deal was approved by the board of directors and is in line with its policy on related-party transactions.
