Paraguay’s National Forestry Institute, Infona, said the country’s forestry sector exported wood products worth US$8.575 million FOB in May 2026, reaching 28 markets.

According to the official report, the United States remained the top destination, with purchases totaling US$2.314 million. The United Kingdom ranked second, at US$1.132 million, followed by Germany, with US$695,883.

Other relevant markets during the month included Spain, with US$577,423; Uruguay, with US$527,449; and Israel, with US$451,329, reflecting continued diversification in the destinations for Paraguayan forestry products.

On the import side, the report showed a strong concentration in industrial inputs.
