Petrobras and Murphy form joint venture to explore oil and gas in Gulf of Mexico

Brazil’s state-owned oil company, Petrobras has entered into a joint venture with Murphy Exploration & Production Company for oil and gas exploration in the Gulf of Mexico. Petrobras received US$795 for the deal and will have a 20% stake.

Petrobras received $795 million for the deal, and will have a 20 percent stake in the venture.
