Weather causes limited disruptions

The Port of Quequén operated normally for most of March, though some days were affected by adverse weather.

The terminal recorded five days with partial restrictions and four days of full closure due to strong winds. There were no interruptions caused by fog, although minor limitations were reported because of currents.

The March figures reinforce the role of Port of Quequén grain exports in Argentina’s agricultural trade, particularly for wheat and barley shipments moving from Buenos Aires province to markets in Latin America, Africa, Asia, Europe and the Middle East.
