The Port of Salvador closed May with a historic result: more than 200,000 tonnes of imported bulk cargo were unloaded at the Commercial Wharf. The record highlights the progress achieved through Bahia’s Zero Queue Project, which has improved operational efficiency and enhanced the port complex’s competitiveness.
Intermarítima Portos e Logística: “This result is the outcome of a partnership among customers, workers, port operators, and institutions that believe in Bahia’s potential as a national logistics benchmark. We continue to move forward, investing and building new chapters for the development of the port sector.”
June has already begun making history as well, with the arrival of the second Panamax vessel ever to dock at the Port of Salvador, marking a new chapter for port operations in the state.
