According to Hugo Corales, director of ProChile, the quality of the Chilean nuts, which is recognized as the best nut in the world, in addition to its light color and freshness, makes it a highly desirable product. Furthermore, because of its high content of phenols, fatty acids, and proteins, its consumption benefits those seeking a more natural and healthy diet.
“Another factor that contributes to the increase in purchases is the proximity of the two countries, which facilitates land transport. Furthermore, Chile has a privileged Mediterranean climate, allowing us to produce against the season and become one of the world’s largest exporters of nuts,” says Corales.
