Public consultation to review Port of Santos area now open
Aug, 26, 2022 Posted by Gabriel MalheirosWeek 202234
The Brazilian government has been gathering since August 23 intakes from society regarding the limits of the Port of Santos administrative area, known as a ‘polygonal area’ due to its format traced on maps and charts.
Anyone can read more about the proposal and express their opinion until September 1 through the Participa Mais Brasil platform.
Governmental authorities hold a public consultation to ensure effective participation from society and the port community in delimitating the area and proposing eventual adjustments before privatizing the Port of Santos.
The consultation will be open for ten days, ensuring transparency and allowing interested parties to bring their contributions. To participate, one can simply access Participa Mais Brasil.
