Public hearing on lease area at Port of Vila do Conde postponed

Brazil’s National Waterway Transportation Agency, Antaq, announced the postponement of Public Hearing No. 04-2026, which was intended to receive contributions, input and suggestions to improve the technical and legal documents related to the bidding process for the lease of area VDC04 at the Port of Vila do Conde, in Pará.

The facility is intended for the handling and storage of solid mineral bulk cargoes, especially fertilizers. The new date for the public hearing and the deadline for the public consultation will be announced in due course.
