Rumo has been included, for the third consecutive year, in the Corporate Sustainability Index (ISE) of B3, Brazil’s Stock Exchange. The ISE aims to serve as an indicator of the average performance of asset quotations from companies selected for their commitment to corporate sustainability. It supports investors in decision-making and encourages companies to continually adopt best sustainability practices, given that ESG practices (Environmental, Social, and Corporate Governance) contribute to the longevity of businesses.
This recognition reinforces the company’s commitment to incorporating environmental, social, and governance dimensions into its business model. “We are extremely proud to be recognized again in the B3 ISE. Being part of this group of companies proves our effort in implementing a consistent sustainability agenda that creates value for Rumo,” celebrates Cristiano Brasil, Vice President of People, ESG, and Technology at Rumo.
