The Santana Dock Company (CDSA) continues the replacement work on the barge unloading gantry, a structure fundamental to the port’s operational activities and the full functioning of port logistics in the region. Located at Pier 2, the equipment is undergoing reconstruction of the main pillar and the support base, essential stages to ensure greater safety, stability, and operational efficiency.
Throughout the entire process, CDSA ensures that the work is carried out in full compliance with the required safety standards and technical procedures, prioritizing worker safety, the quality of the intervention, and the continuity of port activities with the least possible impact.
“Improving the gantry is essential for our port operations. There was a need for services to become even more efficient, so we are carrying out this work. The modernization of port infrastructure is constant here at CDSA, and this has given us excellent results in operation times,” said Edilson Barros, CDSA’s Operations Director.
The initiative is part of the port infrastructure maintenance and modernization program, which aims to strengthen the Company’s operational capacity and ensure the long-term sustainability of operations. With this action, CDSA reaffirms its commitment to safety, logistical efficiency, and the development of the port sector in the state of Amapá.
