Together with SPA (the Santos port authority), SNPT (the national secretariat of ports and water transport) will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, May 5, from 3 pm to 6 pm, in order to encourage discussion and clarify any doubts about the request to replace the area in the Port of Santos currently occupied by Rishis Empreendimentos e Participações SA (Rishis), controlled by the Eldorado group. The tenant is using warehouses XIII and XVIII, in Paquetá, and is interested in exchanging the areas for one located between STS 14 and STS 14A, with 9,054 m², in Macuco. The replacement of the area is provided for in Decree No. 8,033, of 2013.
STS 14 and 14A are the areas where Grupo Libra’s former container terminal was located in Santos, now operated by Eldorado Celulose and Bracell Celulose. The audience seeks to subsidize the decision-making process of the granting authority and ensure broad social participation.
