The Santos Port Authority (APS) published a tender on July 16 for a company to provide ongoing dockage, lifting and launching services for vessels operated by the Port Guard.
The 48-month contract will cover the fleet under the responsibility of the authority’s Port Guard division. Services will include accommodating vessels at a dock or marina, lifting them out of the water and returning them to the water when required.
To meet the Port Guard’s operational response-time requirements, the selected marina or shipyard must be located within eight kilometers, or approximately 4.3 nautical miles by sea, of the fleet’s current berth at the PIN building in the Ponta da Praia area of Santos.
The tender will be conducted through Banco do Brasil’s Licitações-e electronic procurement platform. The tender documents are also available on the procurement section of the APS website.
