The Santos Port Authority (APS) is participating on April 22, 23, and 24 in the 29th Intermodal South America, considered Latin America’s most significant logistics trade fair. The event is being held at the Distrito Anhembi exhibition center in the northern zone of São Paulo’s capital city.
APS has a booth representing the Port of Santos, and with its administration having assumed control this year, the Port of Itajaí is also described in the space. APS directors Beto Mendes (Operations), Gustavo Salvador Pereira (Business Development and Regulation), Júlio Cezar Alves de Oliveira (Administration and Finance), and Orlando Razões (Infrastructure), as well as the Superintendent of the Port of Itajaí, João Paulo Tavares Bastos, are attending various meetings at the booth with representatives from port operators and other ports from Brazil and around the world. APS President Anderson Pomini is not attending the fair, as he is currently traveling in Europe with the Minister of Ports and Airports, Silvio Costa Filho, presenting the Santos-Guarujá Tunnel project to investors.
The Santos and Itajaí Ports booth is located in aisle D, at number 050. Intermodal South America is open for visitors from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., and admission is free.
Distrito Anhembi is located at Av. Olavo Fontoura, 1,209 – Santana, São Paulo – SP, with free shuttle service to the fair from the Tietê bus terminal. More information is available at https://www.intermodal.com.br/pt/home.html.
