Ship breaks yearly record by disembarking 2012 vehicles at the Port of Vitoria

The ro-ro vessel Florida Highway docked on Monday night (8) at berth 207 of the Capuaba pier in Vila Velha. A total of 2,012 vehicles disembarked, 1,700 of which were from the automaker Ford; 239 Mercedes; 73 Mustangs; plus three industrial machines. It was the biggest single-vessel operation this year.

On Friday, August 12, another 1,975 vehicles arrived in two vessels, the Canadian Highway and Aquamarine Ace. In the first half of August, the total number of cars landed at the Port of Vitória terminals reached 4,813.

Between January and July, 28,310 vehicles landed at the Port of Vitória. The months of March, April, and July recorded the highest volumes with 5,213, 5,818, and 4,293 units, respectively.
