Trade Flow Reaches USD 323.9 Billion from January to 2nd Week of July

In the 2nd week of July, the Trade Balance recorded a surplus of USD 1.09 billion and a trade flow of USD 11.84 billion, resulting from exports totaling USD 6.47 billion and imports of USD 5.37 billion.
For the year to date, exports total USD 178.17 billion and imports USD 145.8 billion, with a positive balance of USD 32.37 billion and a trade flow of USD 323.97 billion. The Trade Balance for the second week of July was released this Monday (07/14) by the Foreign Trade Secretariat of the Ministry of Development, Industry, Trade and Services (Secex/MDIC).

Monthly Comparison
In exports, comparing the daily average from the 1st to the 2nd week of July 2025 (USD 1.36 billion) with that of July 2024 (USD 1.34 billion), there was a growth of 1.9%. Regarding imports, there was a 10% increase when comparing the daily average from the 1st week of July 2025 (USD 1.11 billion) to the 2nd week of July 2025 (USD 1.22 billion) with that of July 2024 (USD 1.01 billion).
Thus, up to the 2nd week of July 2025, the daily average of total trade flow amounted to USD 2.48 billion, with an average daily balance of USD 253.1 million. Compared to the same period in July 2024, there was a 5.4% increase in trade flow.
Exports and Imports by Sector and Product
In cumulative exports up to the 2nd week of July 2025, compared to the same month of the previous year, sector performance by daily average was as follows: an increase of USD 50.65 million (7.1%) in Manufactured Products; an increase of USD 18.05 million (5.8%) in Extractive Industry; and a decrease of USD 41.48 million (-13.3%) in Agriculture.
In cumulative imports, sector performance by daily average was as follows: an increase of USD 114.43 million (12.4%) in Manufactured Products; an increase of USD 1.41 million (6.7%) in Agriculture; and a decrease of USD 14 million (-22.4%) in Extractive Industry.
