Três Corações plans to expand in South America

Brazil’s largest coffee roaster, Três Corações, is planning to acquire assets in Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, Paraguay and Bolivia as part of their expansion program, according to a P&A Marketing report.
Três Corações, a joint venture between the Brazilian São Miguel and the Israeli Strauss groups, has so far acquired eight coffee companies in Brazil since 2005.
Although a prolonged dry spell caused premature culling of coffee cherries in Brazil in the current season, that did not stop the group selling US$1.3bn worth of coffee products in 2018.
DataLiner data suggests Três Corações is one of Brazil’s top 20 coffee exporting companies. The following graph shows how Três Corações’ coffee exports stand against the top three exporters over ten years: wpDataChart with provided ID not found!
